OVERVIEW
The Southside Collaborative Program Manager oversees, promotes and expands Southside Collaborative’s health clubs and community outreach programs. This role involves program management, strategic planning and relationship-building with partners and community leaders. The Program Manager reports to the Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Management & Development

Manage and coordinate weekly health club meetings, including logistics, activities and curriculum.

Foster participant leadership for greater engagement.

Ensure health club activities are interactive, relevant and impactful.

Expand health clubs and community outreach efforts across the Southside.

Organize outreach events, ensuring strong follow-up and engagement.
Community Partnerships

Build and maintain relationships with partners to enhance programs.

Keep partners informed and engaged in supporting Collaborative initiatives.

Maintain a database of partners and upcoming events.
-
Align outreach efforts with coalition partners and update strategy as needed.

Stay informed on local and regional activities related to Social Determinants of Health.
Communications
-
Represent Southside Collaborative to the community and stakeholders.

Coordinate coalition meetings and provide updates.

Develop impact reports, outreach materials, and promotional content.

Utilize web, social media, and texting to drive engagement.
Data & Reporting

Track program performance and key metrics.
-
Assist in grant reporting and data collection to support funding efforts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-
4+ years relevant experience, with at least 2 years in program leadership.

High school diploma/GED or degree in a related field.

Experience in community organizing around health and wellness.
-
Community Health Worker (CHW) certification (or in progress).

Knowledge of Social Determinants of Health and project management.

Proficiency in MS Office.

Bilingual (English & Spanish).

Valid Class C Texas Driver’s License.

Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively.

Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Excellent oral and written communication across diverse audiences.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
-
Must have daily vehicle access with current registration and insurance.

Ability to lift/carry 25 lbs. and work in various settings.

Available for evening/weekend events with notice.
